May 23, 2007 From bottle at 12de Vilvordia BierProefFestival. Dark brown, almost black with a light brown head. Espresso and chocolate aroma. Dark chocolate and espresso flavours, quite dry with a nice coffee finish. Another hit.

Sep 5, 2007 Bottle from BierKoning. Tar black with dark brown foam. Tangy nose. Sweet with coffee taste, charamel and quite malty. Licorice/drop ending. Quite nice.

Mar 9, 2008 Draught. Low and shortlive light brown head. Very dark red brown body. Powerfull coffee flavor, pretty hoppy as well, yeat smooth and pleasant. Low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Deep, black body. Creamy, lightly brown head. Aroma of malts, liquor, ...: quite lovely and complex. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Good balance. Very nice beer for it’s rather low ABV.
