Bov (4659), Bienne, Switzerland May 20, 2008 from crackedkettle.com - cloudy orange colour with a little white foam; aroma of coriander, candi sugar and oranges; highly carbonated, very tart and sour/acidic, medium-bodied, very dry finish with more sourish notes of orange and some undefined spices - very original and not for the cowards

Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Light fruity-hoppy, spicey and a bit sweet aroma. Crisp carbonation. Fruity, grainy-yeasty flavor. Wheat is present, flavor also has citrus and coriander. Finish has alcohol and bitter hops. Quite balanced. Crossover of tripel and witbier, but character is more like the first one. Seems a bit underrated in Ratebeer (average 3.07/24), many raters seem to had an infected sample. sayravai (3186), Helsinki, Finland Jul 9, 2008 (Bottled) Very hazy darkish amber with a small, but firm head. Mild aroma of toffee-caramely-grainy malt, hints of tartness, and lemony hops. Lightly caramely, wheaty-malty flavor with dried fruit, some anise-coriandery spiciness, and lemony hops. Light to medium-bodied with high, but very soft carbonation. A smooth and softly spicy, dubbel-like wheat. Alcohol is well hidden, despite the relatively light body (especially without yeast) and lack of sweetness. Not bad.
