Bottle. [Tasting session @ Papsoe] Large fine bubbled head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Aroma of grain, floral, dusty flower, caramel. Over the palate came again dusty hoppy notes with good malty base and some fruity notes. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet flavour with good counter bitterness. Hoppy dusty light bitter finish.

bottle(fantasie) pours hazy deep yellow with a thin white head. Aroma has lemon, grass, sugar cane, and some yeast. It’s slightly sweet and bitter with heavy carbonation. I get some orange and light smokiness. I’ve read they use spent whiskey malt and it is aparent. This seems alot like a saison or a farmhouse in it’s light and slighlty spicy nature. Very enjoyable and easy to drink. My bottleis listed at 5 percent, the brewers website says 9?

Bottle picked up at Bachanalia, Cambridge, 11-10-08 Pours orange/amber with white head. Malty spicy brew with a touch of citrus, some ginger and interestingly I get some chard flavours also.
