gunnfryd (2448), Kristiansand, Norway May 6, 2008 Bottle. golden brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is citrus, hop, yeast, malt. Flavour is citrus, hop, yeast, malt. Balanced flavour. Bitter finish. Nice beer. Pinball (75), Birkerød, Denmark May 2, 2008 Updated: May 9, 2008Bottle, best before 2008 sep 05. Nice hoppy aroma, doesn’t let you know what’s coming. Looks okay, but foam is a bit thin. Flavor is honey and hops. also some brown sugar. Totally surprising since it didn’t smell that way. Tastes great but a little too much honey/caramel. You could pour it over cereral, lol.. Quite a surprise, but a nice beer. Not sure if it was intened to taste like this. Tried another bottle. The very sugary taste was less dominant. Now it’s even better. mjs (156), Finland Apr 25, 2008 (Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-24) Strong hoppiness in both nose and taste. Rye used gives some strength to the body which is pleasant. GRRREEAT grapefruit bitterness balanced by the bread/grain solidness MaxxDaddy (205), New York, New York, USA Apr 13, 2008 On tap at Plan B. Pours dark golden with decent sized head. Aroma is very piney with some fruitiness as well. Get some malty sweetness in the aroma when it wamrs up. Taste is very hoppy, more pine trees with some subtle malt background. Average palate with a clean bitter finish. Very solid IPA and very drinkable too.
