COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA. HOPS: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade Bu: 65 ABV: 6.5% Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

This is a super solid IPA. Well balanced with biscuity malts and robust citrus and pine hop flavors. One of the better PNW IPA’s and at $7.99 a six pack at Total Wine could make this a new go-to.

Pours a lovely dark golden, orangey-amber highlights, semi-hazy, thick cap of whitish foam. Citrusy hops are balanced by a slight fruity aroma, distinctly grapefruit, hop-coney forest, soil. Tastes very well balanced, a decent malt backbone that finishes dry and has a medium-light body. No overbearing caramel notes nor cloying sweetness. Lingering bitterness is delightful. Amarillo hops really play second fiddle to Centennial and Cascade in this beer. A very good example of the current standard for IPAs.

Nice bitter malty aroma with a floral hop smell. Its a blonde hazy ale with a white head. A nice hop flavor mixed with a good amout of malt. The bitterness comes in at the end but not overpowering. Its a medium/light bodied beer with a good carb. Worth a try.

I ONLY drink a GOOD bitter IPA and this one is THE BEST I have ever had...and I have had many!!! If it is on the menu...It is in my glass...SUPER BEER!!! It has every quality a FANTASTIC IPA should have and more! I am very picky about my IPA’s (I have even been know to refuse to drink a glass of beer and have a regular ice tea over a crappy one) and this one is NUMBER ONE in all categories!

Draft at Blackback. Pours an orangey color with offwhite head. Nose is earthy and citrusy , strong resin. On tasting, clean on the palate and crisp with low sweetness. Citrus and resin again through the finish. Medium high bitterness. Solid IPA.
