A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA.

Hops: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade
Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

From the 650 ml. bottle. The pour is golden amber with a lingering foamy white head that leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. The aroma is of floral and grassy hops, resin, and even some pear. The body is medium. The taste is well hopped up with a kind of butterscotch flavor going on. A nice Northwestern "hops galore" beer to drink.

Pours a hazy copper orange with a white head and aroma of hops, citrus, and grapefruit. Bittersweet taste up front, sweet malty caramel with bitter hops, citrus, pine, and grapefruit leading to a bitter, dry finish. Nice, tasty IPA

Bottle. Light amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, caramel and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Bitterness waits until the finish to fully kick in. Gives you time to taste orange juice, grapefruit rind, citrus, toasted grain. Clean. Thanks wnoble.

Bottled: unk It’s toasted straw with a broken sheet of light, loose white foam. I could smell this when I cracked it open - mangoes initially, then grapefruit, sweetened malts, resin, some pineapple. Taste is resin, bitter, sweet malts, lemon peel, and some more pineapple. Medium on simply syrup with a lower carb and semi dry finish. Nice beer, a little cloying like so many IPAs these days.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite citrusy, full of citrus and piney hops, and some biscuity malt to back. Flavour is pretty much identical, bringing out dry piney and citrus hops upfront, backed by just enough crisp biscuity malt. Light lingering astringency on the finish. Very well-balanced, crisp and thirst-quenching. A solid, by-the-books IPA here.

Cloudy orange in color, good carbonation, smells of fruity hops. Creamy, very mellow, smooth IPA. Hoppy but no bite at the end of the taste. Overall good IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
