Slightly hazy amber color, small off-white head. Tropical fruity, hoppyness, caramel malty notes. Medium-bodied. Front is kind of crystal malty, caramelly with some berries too. Finish has hoppy bitterness and moderate alcohol. Less bitter than name claims :)

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate bubblegum citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a complex unbalanced beer.

Bottle at Woodshop 5.0 (2/20/10): Pours a transparent bright golden with a small ring of white bubbles. Has a fresh grapefruity piny nose with some lightly sweet pale malts. Starts with good fullness and grassy herbal hop bitterness before a smooth bittersweet crisp finish. A well balanced and very drinkable IPA.

On draught at Horse Brass in Portland. Pours clear amber with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of Amarillo hops primarily, plus some caramel malt. Medium body with a citrusy hops flavor as well as notes of earthy malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a moderate bitterness that lingers a bit. Above average all around.
