3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Super hazy, almost golden tinted bronze and copper coloured body with a thin, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grapefruit, nice rich piney hop with a bunch of apricots and other sweet scents tucked in with a decent amount of malt. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and piney hop notes balance out a perfect malt backbone and show a herbal and floral finish with lavender, sage and light hay notes with a very peppery yeast strain and a good subtle sweetness at the end. Overall, a very nice and complex IPA with a lot of deep flavours that show well and don’t cloy the palate at all. Great to sample and well worth searching out for if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 28-February-2012 for US$4.15 sampled at home in Washington after running a half marathon on 16-September-2012.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Hayduke. Clear and golden with active carbonation and a fluffy white head. I put my nose to it and grab a face full of citrus hops. This screams west coast IPA. Lemon, oranges, mangoes. Lesser caramel. Flavors resemble the flavor with grapefruit and more malts. Bitterness is certainly noticeable and tends to grow. Cracker notes catch me by surprise. Throw some pine into the mix. The feel is somehow oily and smooth. This beer seems to border on being out of control with malts trying to hold a rebellion. However, the hops stomp that down perfectly and all is well in Apocalypse land.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ The BeerMongers... Poured amber/burnt orange with a beige head. Piney, black pepper spice, resinous, syruppy hopped tones. Light body, malts for sweetness, hoppy bitterness in the finish. Jello-like yeast esters.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz. bottle shared by brew3crew (I think). Pours a dark golden amber color with a small white head. The aroma had citrus, light pine, bready malts, bubble gum, light floral and some alcohol. The flavor was more dry herbal, bready malts, hints of citrus, lingering bitterness. Not much in the way of flavoring hops.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bottle pours a golden orangeish color with a 2 finger white head that retains well and leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel malts and citrus and pine hops. Taste is slightly fruity with caramel sweetness and a citrus and pine hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body and nice carbonation leave a pleasant feeling on the palate. Overall, a damn fine IPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to snifter. Looks alright; a little dark for an IPA though. Smells pretty good; hoppy and malty. Tastes alright; a little bland though. Mouthfeel is average. A decent brew, but not a great one.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Pours a cloudy light orange to copper color with a very fizzy beige head. Aroma is spicy wet hops, syrup and leafy notes. Flavor is dry, dry bitter hops and a sharp flavor that aims through the finish. A bit sharp.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This one poured a bright orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of oranges, marmalade, grass and spruce and caramel. Flavor was mild caramel bas with a nice fruity and floral hops profile, but not very biing at all. A solid IPA.
