COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA. HOPS: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade Bu: 65 ABV: 6.5% Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

Bomber from Hayduke. Clear and golden with active carbonation and a fluffy white head. I put my nose to it and grab a face full of citrus hops. This screams west coast IPA. Lemon, oranges, mangoes. Lesser caramel. Flavors resemble the flavor with grapefruit and more malts. Bitterness is certainly noticeable and tends to grow. Cracker notes catch me by surprise. Throw some pine into the mix. The feel is somehow oily and smooth. This beer seems to border on being out of control with malts trying to hold a rebellion. However, the hops stomp that down perfectly and all is well in Apocalypse land.

In short: A clean juicy citrusy (apricots mainly) golden IPA. Good.
How: Bottle 12oz. Withing one week after purchase.
The look: Clear golden-amber body topped by a small white head.
In long: Nose is classic citrusy hops with a dominant apricot juice character. The attack is a bit sweet with a taste that is white head dipped in sweet apricot juice. Bitterness level is medium adding a sharp white grapefruit flavor to the apricot juice. Very clean beer. Tasty old-fashion American IPA. Yet another beer named Apocalypse, and I don’t even know what this word really means, and I don’t care that I don’t know anything about the apocalypse, it’s not the end of the world.

Bottle in the hotel mug. Thick white cap reduces to a smattering of volcanic rock bubbles. Aroma is fantastically floral, pine, peach, biscuit, and caramel. Taste is pine resin, grapefruit citrus tartness, balanced by caramel malt, and straw-like dryness. Lingering pine sap tingle.

Bottle shared by Dogbrick on Memorial Day. Pours clear gold in appearance with a thick white head. Malty nose with some citrus, pine and grass. Sweet malt flavor with piney hops before a citrusy finish.

pours clear pale yellow with a decent white head, some retention. some grains, resin and citrus, boozy citrus, sprucey-piney, some fruity malts - apricots, bell peppers, hint of caramel. average to soft carbonation, light to medium body - oily, smooth mouthfeel, medium long citrusy-grapefruity-lightly piney finish. not quite my type but more than decent.

Bomber. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a large white head. A fruity nose of lemon and oranges. Rich, some bitterness, lemons, citrus, earthy malts. Quite good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden with a little head that leaves nice lacing. Smells of citrus, banana, lemon and pineapple. Lots of hops, somewhat bitter with lively carbonation, full body and a short clean bitter and somewhat sour finish. Interesting.

On draft in Bend, Oregon. Taste is flowers, pine cones and grapefruit, with a light hint of booze. Nice.

Welcome the Apocalypse from 10 Barrel. It is worth the reckoning. This IPA pours a translucent golden color with a white cap and tight lacing. Aroma if pineapple and other fruits (mainly citrus). The palate is greeted with a refreshing blend of citrus fruits with notes of orange and hops galore. I love this IPA. Now on the lookout for more from 10 Barrel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very hoppy, which accountss for the bitter flavor and bold taste. After taste of liquor

Orange with a white head. Aroma is perfume, flowers, bread, orange citrus and a good bit of candy sweetness. Flavor is pine and citrus up front with some flowers, bread and low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
