COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA. HOPS: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade Bu: 65 ABV: 6.5% Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

A fantastic session IPA. Unlike other IPAs that have a strong grapefruit flavor, 10 Barrel instead went with a very pleasant pine aroma and taste. Full-bodied, but scary easy to drink. Make sure you have a ride home.

Aroma of I2PA quality, very resiny in aroma, flavor and mouthfeel. Good 1-finger head in a 14.9 conical. Can’t think of anything creative to say about this beer as I am not all hopped up on goofballs at the moment. Long story short: the thing that stands out here is the resin character.

Very fresh hop aroma. Dirty gold in color with a nice head. Flavor is dominated by the fresh hops. Notes: GABF ’09

Citrusy going in to great malt notes of coffee and toffee. Finish draws out which fits the malt character well. Perhaps a bit sweet. Overall a great surprise beer

Just like the description says, a very drinkable IPA. The best part of this beer is definitely the aroma. I experienced this beer from a growler filled at my local craft beer store. Thank you Northwest Liquid Gold. Pours a bright copper color with little foamy head. It is medium bodied and the 67 IBU is just right, I would barely consider it a slightly bitter beer. The aroma is crisp, fruity and will keep that glass to your nose. Ohh...deliciousness...yes...I said it, deliciousness.

Bold, deep straw hued body. Big, straight-forward toasted malt backbone. Smooth and creamy with caramel sweetness. Pleasant floral hop character with a soft grassy character highlighted by well balanced citrus and pine.

Floral/piney hop aroma. Slightly cloudy appearance. Taste is smooth, not too bitter. A little thin on the finish.

22 oz bottle from New Seasons - orange with white head. Floral hop aroma. Fizzy on the palate. Nice hoppy taste with a decent malt undertone. Good Oregon IPA.

Bottle at Woodshop 5.0 (2/20/10): Pours a transparent bright golden with a small ring of white bubbles. Has a fresh grapefruity piny nose with some lightly sweet pale malts. Starts with good fullness and grassy herbal hop bitterness before a smooth bittersweet crisp finish. A well balanced and very drinkable IPA.
