COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA. HOPS: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade Bu: 65 ABV: 6.5% Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

I ONLY drink a GOOD bitter IPA and this one is THE BEST I have ever had...and I have had many!!! If it is on the menu...It is in my glass...SUPER BEER!!! It has every quality a FANTASTIC IPA should have and more! I am very picky about my IPA’s (I have even been know to refuse to drink a glass of beer and have a regular ice tea over a crappy one) and this one is NUMBER ONE in all categories!

A really well balanced IPA from one of the better central Oregon breweries. Not overly hoppy but enough to keep it very much in the IPA family. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A fantastic session IPA. Unlike other IPAs that have a strong grapefruit flavor, 10 Barrel instead went with a very pleasant pine aroma and taste. Full-bodied, but scary easy to drink. Make sure you have a ride home.

This is an excellent IPA. I had little or no expectations when I opened this beer. It was an after thought as I grab a few beer before I crossed the border. Boy, was I surprised. What a great IPA. Not too grapefruity, lovely aroma and a super smooth taste. A REALLY nice beer. You will enjoy this IPA.

Light orange hazy appearance. Very good hoppy flavor with a crisp hop finish. Drinkable but with great flavor

I love this IPA. Piney without being resiny but with a nice citrus overtone. Hops linger pleasantly. You could drink a few of these as it's balanced well between complexity and drinkability. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a lovely dark golden, orangey-amber highlights, semi-hazy, thick cap of whitish foam. Citrusy hops are balanced by a slight fruity aroma, distinctly grapefruit, hop-coney forest, soil. Tastes very well balanced, a decent malt backbone that finishes dry and has a medium-light body. No overbearing caramel notes nor cloying sweetness. Lingering bitterness is delightful. Amarillo hops really play second fiddle to Centennial and Cascade in this beer. A very good example of the current standard for IPAs.
