COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA. HOPS: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade Bu: 65 ABV: 6.5% Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

Bottle:   Amber, fine sediment floats about, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Soft hop and citrus nose.   Pretty much same on the tongue.   Clean, almost more of a Pale Ale.   Well, inbetween at least.   Smooth malty citrus like flavors, smidgen of hops.   This would make a great Pale Ale.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, fairly smooth on the tongue.   Clean finish, lingering citrus and hop notes.   Not big at all, and in fact more of an American Pale... but its very smooth and at least fairly flavorful without any defects.   Sessionable IPA, yeah...

Another rather samey IPA, but this one had a little bit of a refreshing kick to it.

Tap: Clear, copper color with a white fluffy head and sticky lacing. Green fruit, compote, hops in the aroma. The taste is dry pine needles, a little musty. I was hoping it would be a little more apocalyptic, but a valiant effort from the little brewery that stands in the shadow the giant "Deschutes."

A: Poured a nice glowing orange color with good carbonation leaving a ncie white cap and lacing S: Big hop forward nose; citrus and green veggies, almost like GUBNA eeeek T: Immediate citrus, floral note with a spicey and Earthy note, a little toastiness as the beer progresses on the palate I get a fresh cut onion and veggie characteristic blended with citrus. the malt base is something lacking and off. I have never been a fan of Crystam malt in any IPA and the pairing of the Summit and Perle hops with this malt bill is unappealling M: Blah, to hop forward, sordove oily, bitter O: I had heard good things about this IPA. While it snot terrible I wont ever try this again

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate bubblegum citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a complex unbalanced beer.

Bottle to snifter. Looks alright; a little dark for an IPA though. Smells pretty good; hoppy and malty. Tastes alright; a little bland though. Mouthfeel is average. A decent brew, but not a great one.

650ml bottle pours a golden orangeish color with a 2 finger white head that retains well and leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel malts and citrus and pine hops. Taste is slightly fruity with caramel sweetness and a citrus and pine hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body and nice carbonation leave a pleasant feeling on the palate. Overall, a damn fine IPA.

Light Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Hops and malt aroma. Floral and light fruitiness come off. This was a tasty IPA and I loved the finish. Nice bitterness finish this beer is a great pasta brew. The Citrus finish was super.
