3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22. Pours a murky rubied dark ebony with a dense and creamy tan head that fades. Tiny bit of barnyard on the nose. Balsamic, cherries, and strawberries as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Cherry, strawberry, and balsamic mid palate. Very nice, and, for the price, fully incredible. Long mild snack cherry finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Nose if fruit flesh, plum like, grapy with a touch of mustiness and wood. Some vanilla as it warms, Pour is dark red with a small off white head. Taste is a bit aggressive in sourness at first with a weird roasted malt bitterness and coffee flavor. As I drink it, the slight coffee flavor keeps detracting me from an otherwise, very pleasant sour. I thought initially it was too sour, but that is not the case at all, it is a touch too astringent and tannin. overall, ok, but seems to lack a malt backbone to support the sourness.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
So I’ve held onto this one for a few months while we were waiting for the wee man to be born and unhappily I don’t believe it has stood the test of time. Sure it has true Flanders hints to it but it is over-carbonated beyond pleasurable drinking. My other half likes it but it’s not for me, it lacks the brightness I enjoy in a good sour. A little metallic and oxidized.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle via JohnGalt1, thanks man! Pours a chestnut brown color with about a finger of fizzy beige head. Lots of bubbles. Nose is vinous, oak, and vanilla. The vanilla is speaking to me… a marvelous aroma. I’m picking up the cherries at first sip, along with light vinous notes and oak. A little on the acidic side and dry. Has some cider qualities. Overall it drinks well, but that nose is insane. Pretty stoked for the chance to try this, thanks again Toby.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bob’s.
Dark pour, red highlights. Nose of cherry and a whiff of chocolate. Flavor is only gently sour; easy drinking (but not in a sessionable sense) with chocolate truffle atop cherry and strawberry notes. Good but not outstanding.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the Bier Stein, Eugene. Pours a cloudy reddish amber, hint of off white head. Aroma slight fruit, floor malt. Body very citric, tang, but in a more rounded way than one might expect. Nice and right for the price but not up o the level of 10B’s best.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured out a deep amber with almost small off white head. Nose is sour cherries. Sour cherries remain light in the flavor with some light bready malts on the backend. I think this was a little better fresh at the brewery but still nice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz bomber bought from Fred Meyer in S.Salem $4.49
Darker garnet accented brown beer with a nice sized frothy thick light tan head.
Aroma of ripened berries and a touch of acetic acid.
very vinegary like taste. Even verging on malt vinegar, maybe a little malt in the back .Not a very fruity example.
The mouth feel is thin and very drying of course.
I guess I can handle this but not a favorite!
