COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just like a gambler doubling down in Vegas so is this beer on the hops. The heavy handed additions of Magnum, Simcoe, and Chinook drives the hop charge over the top. Malt, being the counterpart in this beer, is built upon Pale, Crystal, Carapils, and Munich. All this combined creates a royal flush of a brew. If you don’t LOVE hops, then don’t even bother!

From 22 ounce bottle. Intense grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor, well balanced hop presence. Hardly any bitterness. A really good imperial IPA.

On tap. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of pineapple, citrus, and other tropical fruit. Flavors of fruit gummies, bitter lemon, pine and dried melons on a sweet malt base. Smooth. N

4’s across the board! This one is fruity & bitter and lip smacking good. Although ABV is over 9, the alcohol is offset by the smooth malt and enormous amount of hops that it’s barely noticeable. Enjoy!

Very nice Imperial IPA. Lots of citrus, tropical fruits, mango aroma. High carbonated, medium bodied, no booze, drinkable. Great balance with bitter and sweet, the hoppy bitterness is strong but satisfying. Very good!

Poured from a bomber. Hazy orange gold pour. Aroma hits you in the face as soon as it lands in the glass. Big hits of grass and citrus, hints of tropical fruit. Taste is very tropic fruit-forward. Juicy mango and papaya. Light grassiness. Definitely sweet, but not cloying. Finishes sweet and resiny. One of the best deals on the shelf at $3/22 oz.

22 ounce bottle from Taylor’s Market in Sacramento. Huge grapefruit taste, thin, disappearing head.

Sampled at GABF 2015. Pour was gold with white head. Nose of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine. Full in body. Flavor is fruit and a lot of it, with a bitter pine finish. Excellent.

On tap at Beer Baron. It pours a pale golden color with a white head. The aroma has some dank weed along with some sweet tropical fruit. Sweaty peach, pineapple and grapefruit comes to mind. Hints of toasted bread. The flavor is the same. Weedy with a little bit of earthy onion bitterness underneath full sweet fruity hops. Pineapple and blueberry. Seems Mosaic-like to me, so I’m surprised that isn’t in here. Full bodied and clean. A really nice IIPA.

Pours a hazy grayish orange. Pine and toffee on the nose. Taste is more on the maltier/danker side of IIPA: caramel, pine, earth, mango. OK, but I prefer a brighter palate and more citrus.

The glorious creamy mouth feel on the Imperial IPA is uber delicious as piney notes play with the perfect malts. The finish is very nice. The lingering sweetness of the hops is superb. One very nice Double IPA.

Bomber from Liquor Max in Loveland. No bottle date - hate that. Hazy tannish orange pour with an off-white head leaving spotty lace. Aroma has citrus, pineapple, toffee, and that tangy very sweet simcoe hop smell. Taste is of tangy pine sweet fruits, pineapple, and toffee. Overlayered, syrupy and medium bodied with a bit of an alcohol presence. Finishes shorter than expected (a simcoe characteristic, it seems - anecdotally), more tangy sweet than bitter. Was really expecting a lot after the IPA, but this is not a deeper/thicker version of that, instead a stand alone solid, not better, brew. 14.3
