Clear golden. Lacto tart nose. Flavor is sweet mango, lemon/lacto tart, grainy finish. Too sweet but otherwise an okay attempt.

pours a translucent yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of sour wheat, lacto, citrus, and white wine. Taste is tart, sour wheat, semi dry white wine and lacto. Solid berliner, perfect base for fruited berliners

On tap at pints Pours golden with a centrally rising white cap. Smells funky and grainy, simple. Mildly sour with a good salinity and corn notes. Some funk and bicarbonate. Thin with moderately hi carb. Good.

Germans drink this flavored, so it seems wierd to me that the Americans drink it straight. Biting tartness and carbonation are there as needed, soem grain notes with lots of citrusy aroma and taste too. Just wish they’d serve some syrup with it.....

Tap at 10 Barrel brewpub in Bend. Clear, orange golden pour. Wispy white lacing. Nose is funky, lactic, footy. Taste is tart, big lemon lime acid, tangy, sharper, thick lactic, massive lime juice piles on. Palate is spot on for Berliner. Salty, clean, big yogurt.

On Tap at the Boise BP Clear bright golden with a small fleeting bright white head. Sour apple and lemon aroma and flavor. Very dry and tart but lots of sour flavor. Very good.

Tap: Clear gold with not much head. Acidic aroma and taste like tart apple juice. It also has vinegar in it as well. Pretty good.

Had a nice glass tonight at the Boise RAM for the medal party for the Mountain Brewers Beer Fest .. Pours with a short lasting sudsy white head... the brew is polished straw golden... Proper. The nose is brightly acidic with some background earthy notes. Flavor mirrors the nose with some lemon zest... very lactic with no vinegar notes... some sorta background grainy notes helps propel the acidity from front to back. The expected light body with plenty of prickly carbonation. Wow... I hope they bottle this one... I could drink this again and again. Pretty tart/sour for the style.. but this comes from the PNW!

Clean and bright with a persistent head. The nose isn’t up to a huge amount except a little green wheat but in the mouth it packs in mad flavour. Floury bread meets gooseberry and lemon. So zingy but smooth.

Gold, clear, thin white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, some wheat, no detectable sourness. Flavor of spicy wheat, moderately strong sourness, hints of tart green apples, lemons. Puckery acidity in finish.
