OG Wheat gives props to the "Original Gangsters" of the beer scene here in the Northwest. How? We simply jumped in our time machine, hijacked the OG’s and wrote the master recipe. Time for old school to meet the new school.

Bottle. Pours murky yellow with a thin white head that dissipates like a typical wheat beer. Smells of wheat and corn over mild carbonation. Nice hop flavor with some simple complexity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours a hazy gold to orange with a frothy white head. Nose of citrus and stone fruit. Medium= body and creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is fruit and citrus. Malts are light. Dry bitter finish and lots of lingering fruit. Very nice beer..

Aroma dominated by citrus hops. Flavor is citrus and grapefruit hops and a very subtle wheat spice.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copperish color with a moderate off white head on it. Nose is light and fresh with nust a little bit of grassiness to it. Taste is only slightly bitter, with hints of citrus and grains to it. Ok, but nothing special to me.

HKdIPA (114) - HONG KONG - MAR 8, 2014
Cloudy golden orange pour. Grassy hoppy aroma with some sweetness. Bitter grassy hops taste. Nice IPA, the wheat isn't that evident except in the cloudiness.

Hazy, honey color, big frothy bone white head. Huge, ripe stone fruit nose. Flavor is dank resin, bright peach and nectarine, doughy/honey sweetness, lemon rind bitterness on the finish. Bursting with juicy hop flavor, wheat contributes a pleasant round softness to the mouthfeel. Really unique and well done.

This is just plain good stuff. Wheat lends some interesting character to a first-rate IPA. Aroma and taste are completely dialed in.

Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with decent amount of white lacing head. Strong aroma hops and tropical citrus fruits, such as grapefruit, pineapple, and lemon. An amazing balance of citrus hop flavors and wheat intertwined. Great flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, with a bottled-on date of December 23rd, so this is fresh, shared with my wife. Hazy golden body, topped by a lasting white head. Very hoppy nose, grapefruit, passionfruit. The same bright hop character fills the palate, with austere biscuit malts that stay light, not syrupy or toasty at all. Very drinkable, bright IPA. Beautiful.

Bottle at Kevin's - pours clear copper color. Nose is of hop and pine. Taste is of citrus, hops, and bitter finish. Somewhat sticky and syrupy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
