COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In typical 10 Barrel style, we took a traditional American Brown, threw it through the ringer, and put our own unique twist on it. We took a standard brown malt bill and augmented with Aromatic, Marris Otter, Cara-Crystal wheat, flaked barley, chocolate, and special roasted malt. We then overloaded it with Cascade, Centennial, Northern Brewer, Simcoe, and Chinook hops, leading to a complex battle of pine and citrus flavor and aromatics.

22oz bottle from N.Salem Fred Meyers. $3.79 Says 7.1% alc on bottle and "Crafted by Tonya Cornett" Slightly hazy bright brown ale with a sumptuous creme coloured head..large and frothy. Pretty hoppy aroma for a Brown..spicy,citric hop big caramel malt backing. Flavour is very nice smooth yet hoppy..the smooth toffee/caramel maltiness over lays a prickly, citric hop layer and surprisingly it works very well. Good on the palate for a 7.1% this is ridiculously drinkable..gulpable even..due to the excellent carbonation levels. Great beer from Tonya and 10Barrel.

Bottle with Carla. Pours a lightly hazy mid-light brown with light tan foam. Smells slightly sweet with hints of pine and caramel. Tastes surprisingly bitter with some sweet grains behind the bitter pine/citrus hops.

On tap at the 10 Barrel Brewpub in Bend, Oregon. Poured a light brown amber with a big off-white head and excellent lacing rings. Nose of roasted caramel malts with some pine, floral, and citrus hops. Medium in body with a slick and clean mouthfeel. The flavor is quite complex with roasted malts, chocolate, mixed with very flavorful hops showing lots of pine and citrus. The finish is dry and lightly bitter. This is a really tasty and drinkable brown.
