The aroma of this milk stout is clean, revealing hints of roast malt intermingled with cinnamon as it warms. The flavor has a smooth and subtle candy like sweetness resulting from the addition of dates and raisins in the boil. A kiss of cinnamon warms the pallet as it trails off dry and unassuming.

Draft off the nitro tap at the Boise pub. Pours the standard Guiness-esqe looking brew... Nice long lasting head, good lacing... Good chocolate with a bit of an ashy background.. the milk sugars accentuate the chocolate notes and whatever caramel maltiness present... Burnt malts get a little bit much for the style IMO, but still a pretty impressive brew. This would be better off a standard tap... I hate nitro.

Only listed as Milk Stout, same beer I think. Pours a pitch black color with a medium off-white head. A soft chocolate and ash nose. The flavor is huge chocolates, toffee, a nice metallic roast. Solid beer.

Draft taster on nitro. Dark brown with amber hues and a head that finishes as a thin film. Aroma is light sweet with an earthy dark roast. The flavor has a little sweetness the goes full roast. Medium body, med creamy texture, and a long, balanced, roasty-bitter finish.
