This crisp, bright golden beer has a soft fruity aroma with just a nuance of spicy hops. Its clean flavor is underscored by a soft fruitiness that ends dry and refreshing.

It poured a nice light golden brown. Very crisp, but didn’t carry much flavor. It was similar to an unfiltered wheat beer. Over all, it wasn’t that special.

fantastic 1" bright white head... the brew is perfectly clear straw golden. Nose is a nice light pale malt with some subtle sulfur (not a problem given the style).. a bit of noble hoppiness. Flavor is bright clean bready maltiness.. dry throughout with a nice malty essence left behind.. decent hops may be a touch high... seems a bit minerally (again, not a problem). Appropriate body and carbonation... surprisingly good.. I believe I would pick this one out as a Kolsch in a blind tasting pretty much every time. Not nearly as malty as many of the American interpretations... very refreshing... Liked it a bunch.

Bottle:   Yellowish straw, light carbonation, large frothy white head, decent lacing.   Dirty nose, musty, straw/hay, but not bright.   Fairly mealy on the tongue.   A touch of saltiness as well.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Strong mealy mustiness on the finish.   Very much middle of the road, not a crisp example.   Slightly rough around the edges, at least to me.

Draft taster. Clear yellow with great lace residue. Spicy, grassy hop aroma. Pilsneresque. Light bitter flavor, light body, and a crisp, hoppy finish.

I really enjoyed this beer.. Has a great light malty flavor with a little more hops then usual for the style. But I think this would be a great beer to introduce to the drinkers of the big 3.. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer in N.Salem $3.79 Bright golden/yellow beer with a good sized frothy white head..it hangs around a bit too sweetish caramel and hay aromas and a pinch of hop no more Taste mostly hay andtoasty maltiness..there is a tinge maybe of grassy hop in the end, fairly good. OK on the palate good for style Nice drinkable summer beer.

Bottle... Poured golden, pale orange with a thick, white head. This was nice. A little too bitter for the style, but hit the spot none the less. Crisp, low yeast and esters. Earthy and floral with some hop spice. It was clean, well seemed clean. Great and refreshing when cold, as it got to room temperature mild traces of directly showed.
