COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We craft our S1NIST0R BLACK ALE using a special German dehusked black malt that is free of astringency, giving the beer a rich black color without the traditional dark beer characteristics. You will notice subtle hints of chocolate with an easy drinking balance on the back end. In the glass the dark color may look intimidating to some, but donít let this beer fool you. Our unique combination of malts creates a very light body and smooth finish.

Growler pour via lagunitas fan. Clear mohogany with a smidgen of cherry wood in the color, soapy tan head. Smells like roasted malt...like in a dry stout with a touch of acid around the edges. Flavors again are dry and roasty...yeah, thatís pretty much all I got. Flavorful yeah, clean enough...not offensive..ok.

My buddy Ryan brought to me a growler of this as a thank you for taking him to the airport. We sat in the driveway and pounded the growler upon his return. Pour is black with strong tan head. Nose is chocolate and roast malt. Dry like cocoa. Taste is big smooth sweet. Still some chocolate, but much lighter than the nose. Light rum and raisin to go with the malts. Big round mouth with full sweet finish. Not rich sweet, light sweet with roast malt/hoppy sharp finish. Rather clean for such a dark offering. Nice brew!

Comes out of the tap a barely translucent reddish sable with a nice pale tan head that leaves behind substantial lacing. Aroma is smoky and malty with a coffee tone and some subtle nuttiness. Smoky roast coffee flavor has nutty, caramel and toffee hints. Texture is smooth and fairly fizzy, rather pleasing.

bottle. smokey and ashy licorice and dark chocolate nose, lightly yeasty/phenolic with a distinct dry/parched charred wood note. itís a beachwood campfire with a small, enjoyable milk chocolate and nougat chewiness. barren and rough black malt, lacks the chocolate character, fits the bill for schwarzbier, but has some vitamin roughness.

On tap @ 10 Barrel. Dark brown with a small head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and some bready malt. Flavor is bready chocolate malt and some roast with a faint hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation and a thick mouth feel. Good beer, lots of flavor and pretty drinkable.

22oz Bottle. Pours out a dark brown topped with a small soapy head. Aroma was of roast, a little brown sugar sweetness, some fruit notes, and a little grain. Taste was much as the aroma with the roast malts leading the way, well balanced with a little bitterness. My first brew from 10 Barrel turned out pretty good in my opinion for what that is worth.

Great beer on draft..this is a black ale..this is probably what Fat Tire could be. Super caramel and coffee, toast and biscuits without the flat bitterness of stouts, great spike of carbonation on mid palate, pretty crisp finish playing off the carbonation..tap is WAY better than bottle

Bottle thanks to someone at t0rin0ís tasting. Pours with a deep brown body with an off-white head. Aroma of green apple, smoke, chocolate and caramel. Taste is weak, thin, watery, sugary wort. Really sweet with some cola notes. Medium carbonation. Watery.
