COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We craft our S1NIST0R BLACK ALE using a special German dehusked black malt that is free of astringency, giving the beer a rich black color without the traditional dark beer characteristics. You will notice subtle hints of chocolate with an easy drinking balance on the back end. In the glass the dark color may look intimidating to some, but don’t let this beer fool you. Our unique combination of malts creates a very light body and smooth finish.

Black pour with thin white head, aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Tastes of sweet malt up front, very smooth clean finish. Very little bitterness, just a tad light in body. This is probably the easiest drinking "black" beer I’ve ever had. Very nice.

Stout-roasty aroma. Black in color with white head. Flavor is that of a light ale with roast notes. Notes: GABF ’09

muddy ruby with thin off-white head. Aroma is funky, earthy, somewhat-unpleasant yeast flavor, hints of smoke and bbq. Flavor is dominated by minty hops and a burnt woody smoke that has a nifty tingly appeal. Light-medium body. medium carbonation, somewhat prickly. Weird and interesting mostly in an unpleasant way, but to some extent in a pleasant way.

650ml bottle pours a dark brown almost black color with a 2 finger off-white head that retains well and leaves some thin spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate with some earthy hops. Taste is roasted malt bitterness with some chocolate sweetness and earthy hop bitterness with a slightly sour finish. Light to medium body and average carbonation. A decent schwarzbier which is quite easy to drink.

Bomber. Dark brown to black. A little flat. Little to no aroma. Decent beer but nothing to get excited about.

This Ale is considered a Schwarzbier (which is typically a lager). It seems like they took a formula for stout or porter and decreased the original gravity. This is a light tasting beer, for how high the SRM is. Quickly dissipating head, as well as the flavor. The flavor is slightly sour. There is a light burnt flavor, watery finish with tinge of bitter.

Bottle:   Deep brown, nearly black, moderate sudsy off white head, spotty lacing.   Roasted malt nose, pale apple skin, a little lactose.   Similar on the tongue, a bit spritzy.   Straight forward, but average in my book.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Fairly solid, but very average.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clear ruby-brown with soapy cream-colored fine bubbled head. Nose of chocolate malt, touch of smoke, and gingerbread. Taste of anise, Belgian yeast, spicy, chocolate. Creamy linger, medium carbonation.
