Beer guy! Stop taking yourself so serious, our Swill was designed to throw down. German Berliner Weiss with multiple layers of grapefruit - delicious, fun and easy to drink.

Trade with Prufrockstar - thanks! The Bride and both sort of said "what the Hell?" when we tried this. Yeah, there’s grapefruit, and there are tart, sour notes. Also, the mouthfeel is odd - it starts off syrupy and ends rather fizzy. All in all, though, we ended up liking it...

Very different and very good. Lower alcohol and relatively simple flavor profile. Fruity almost sour flavor. Definitely not for traditionalists but major points for creativity and drink-ability.

On tap at McKay’s Taphouse, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is very sugary, with artificial sweetness and some sweet lemon. Flavour is not like a Berliner weisse at all, with a cloyingly sweet body - loads of residual sugars. Not a whole a lot else. Swill indeed - one of the worst offerings from 10 Barrel.

Bottle from Fred Meyer in Newport Oregon. Dissapointing beer. I felt like there was too much going on & othe overall flavor was sweet in spite of the small acidity from the "sour" beer.

Hazy yellowy pour. Way, way too sweet, lacking necessary tartness to balance the grapefruit soda sweetness. Pretty gross even on a hot day...

At 10 Barrel brewpub in Bend with Taylor. Pours light bronze with small bubbles. Aroma is big coca cola, RC cola. Taste is cream soda, fizzy vanilla. Weird, never had a beer like this, I like cola lovers might be interested, but it would still fall short.

Bottle: Clear pale gold color with an extremely white head. Aroma of apple cider and grainy malts. Wow, at first I got the sour but then it gets apple sweet soon after with a grainy finish. Average body - great brew for a hot summer evening.

From a 22 oz bottle into a chilled pint glass it had lots of head and had a cloudy yellow color with plenty of bubbly action. First sip didn’t impress but then it grew on me. 92 degrees outside today so this was quite refreshing. Good citrus flavor and very carbonated like drinking a soda. I didn’t think it was overly sweet and I normally have a very sensitive sweet tooth. I don’t love it or hate it as the warning on the label said but I would drink it again when the mercury peaks above 90.

12 oz bottle poured light yellow with a ridiculous amount of carbonation. Faint fruity aroma. Taste is sweet, too sweet. Like a soda. Grapefruit and citrus flavors. Not very sour or tart. Disappointing.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear light yellow pour with a white head. WTF??? Is this a cider?? Apple and pear notes. Effervescent. Interesting. Good body and mouthfeel. Refreshing and tasty.
