Nice and sour, actually shocking at first. Unfortunately the alcohol content is kind of low. Still, a good session or swill beer.

Youíd think it was a Fruit Beer, but itís really just extremely sour. I thought it was a bad batch at first.

Bottle from BevMo! in Redwood City, CA. This is an excellent lemon / citrus soda...but not a great beer / radler.

12 oz single bottle from Supermarket Liquors. Clear bronze appearance with active carbonation and a quickly diminishing head. The aroma is sweet and fruity. The flavor adds notes of grapefruit pith and a light tartness. A little syrupy, yet thin mouth experience. Just too sweet for me.

An interesting beer, more shandy or lambic. Pours a super ugly clear yellow. Smells of lemon. Taste is very sweet with white wine and fruit flavors. Had on tap at Bay Area Brew Fest 2015.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a minimal, poorly retained white head, over a clear dark yellow (SRM 4) body......nose is lemon, light dust, hints of malts, no hops......taste is lemon sweet, with layers of lemon, no grapefruit, with light cereal, minimal acid, no hops......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. The Berliner Weiss is totally hidden by the sweet lemon as there is no lactic acidity. Also the label now indicates the use of Natural Lemon Flavor. The Berliner needs more acid to balance the sweetness. The recipe has obviously been redone with the resulting poor outcome. BJCP 6/2/10/3/5

Smells like lemon in an unfragrant Apple juice. Looks like Apple juice too. Tastes like lemony slightly bitter Apple juice. Goes down easy a bit sweet.

Brilliantly clear light golden with a thin white head. Big sugary sweet orange and lemon candy nose with a wee touch of berlinerweisse sourness. The flavor has a near puckering tone thatís a mix of artificial sour cocktail mix and candy sweet orange/lemon flavors. Quite drinkable if not so candy sweet. The earthy citrusy sweet sour twang, that basically tastes like store brand sour cocktail mix, I could do without.

12 oz bottle from the supermarket. I really wanted to try this last summer, before they sold out. Last year, 10 Barrel had maybe one facing in your average grocery store. Now they have about ten. So now I see this beer everywhere and I remember how I never got a chance to try it last year, so here I go, buying a single 12 oz bottle from a brewery I said Iíd never buy anything from again. Aroma is lemon candy, floral. Pours clear golden with a finger of white foam that lasts a few minutes. Taste is both tart (5/10 on a sour scale) and sugary sweet (but not cloying--at least not yet), lightly grainy. Thereís a flavor here on the back end that I canít really identify. Itís kind of savory, kind of floral, but neither of those things either, but also both of those things. What the hell is it? Anyway, tastes pretty good. What is the style, though? The bottle says itís an American radler, the description on here says Berliner Weiss, and the category itís placed in is Fruit Beer. So just WHAT THE FUCK IS IT???

On draft. Clear yellow pour with no head. Fruity, sweet, easy to drink. No sourness that I could detect.

Bottle from Walmart. Light golden in color. Nose is fairly tart with a little bit of sweetness. Sweet up front with a good amount of tart flavors. Fruity and sweet with a hint of a vinous quality. Pretty tasty and refreshing.
