This pours a straw yellow with a 1" and shrinking head of foam. A little bit of lacing sticking to the glass. There’s a lot of green apples in the smell with a light note of wheat. Green apple, my fav jolly rancher flavour. ;^) Green apple tartness up front, in the middle, and through the finish. "Interrupted" occasionally by some notes of wheat. This IS very cider like as far as how the tartness plays out and that’s fine by me. Light body and carbonation. Per the label, Granny Smith Apples with their German Berliner Weiss. I quite like this. Btw, I got this bottle..Karmalized, I was, by Toby. Thanks a bunch, bro!

At 10 Barrel brewpub in Bend with Taylor. Pours clear mustard yellow no head. Aroma is medium salt, sweet tart, fresh, big tangy green apple. Taste is nice light, tangy, white apple, crisp, tart, salt. Nice Berliner, really interesting and unique concoction. I like he idea of a Berliner cider and this held up to expectations.

On tap at the Pine Box. Clear light yellow pour with a white head. Big cider bouquet. Interesting with cider notes upfront that give way to the yeast/bitter notes of the Berliner. Nice combo with a good mouthfeel. Average body.

Pours a light gold with no head. Aroma of sour wheat, apple cider, lacto with slight funk. Taste is a tart apple cider, nice subtle apple presence. Cool Berliner.

On tap at the Boise BP clear light golden with a brief white head. Nice aroma of apples and Lacto. Flavor is a little winey but the apple plus nicely with the base BW. Not extremely sour...and a very late trailer of soft bready malt notes. Another interesting experimental that they managed to pull of pretty well.

On tap at the Boise brew pub. I really enjoyed this one. It had an apple cider taste with an addition of sour comming from the Berliner. This beer would be great on a hot summer day.

Poured at the brewery. Thin disappearing head, smells like a delicious Granny Smith apple. Tastes like the nose with a mild tartness which isn’t over done. Very well done

Had a couple big goblets of this tonight at 10 Barrel Boise.... Surprised I am the first review. Pours a slightly hazed light golden... short live white head... splotchy lacing. Nose shows more Berliner qualities IMO.... still an nice tart green apple essence works beautifully with the base beer. Flavor has all the dry puckery sparkling cider notes with the Berliner lactic/lemon playing a slight second fiddle... a bit of a wheaty note if I concentrate. Bright, tart, very drinkable... I am really hoping to score a couple of bottles of this... Maybe Boise could get a couple of cases?? ;-)
