355 clear glass bottle pours a golden color with a finger of white head that settles quickly to reveal some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and grainy with hints of rum. Taste is grassy and mild citrus hop bitterness with a grainy malt sweetness with a spicy bite in the finish. A little better than I was expecting, but still nothing really notable.

Taster at beer hive. Pours golden yellow, grassy, light vanilla flavour, too fizzy for me.

From a bottle, poured pale golden. Aroma is sweeter than a typical lager with floral notes. Although the body is light, it does contain some of that sweetness not typically found in a lager. No rum flavors, but smooth. Finish is light. Prefer this over some other island lagers.

sweet floral, grass aroma. Slighty cloudy yellow colour. medium sweetness and medium sourness. slighty bitter. nothing amazing but nice for a hot day

Sweet lager aroma. Slightly unclear but still transparent. Foam stays longer than average lager. Still bit too fast. Surprised to really meet rum in the taste. Without that not much but is not plane or simple or thin.

Bottle ( Clear ) Yellow with a small creamy head. Slightly wooden flavour but apart from this there was nothing there. Thin body and quite disappointing.

Clear bottle at a bar inside the cruise terminal area of Bridgetown, Barbados on 5th April 2014. Paid 6 US Dollars for it, waste of money. Struggled to find any taste or aroma with any Rum involved, just a sad lager with an interesting name and idea that didn’t live up to the cost. Thought it would be stronger in ABV as well as in the taste. In one word: Bland.

Bottle at home watching WSM. Damn Brian Shaw is strong. Poured a pale gold with a quickly fading white head. Aroma of bread, malts, dust. Flavour is malty, light fruit. Not much to see here. Don’t know what happened to the rum.

Flaska.

Hazy pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and dry with a mild minerally crisp trailing edge. Smooth dry pale malt. A dominant and very odd flavour of dried milk powder - Marvel! Whisper of citrus before a dry finish. Very odd.
