2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Backlog purge. On tap at Pub Republic in Petaluma. First of all, I’d like to point out the beer description: "With an ABV of 7.2% galvanized by a total of 64 *IBU’s, we were obliged to create an IPA that would distinguish itself as immortal amongst the common, and with an unforgettable name." This is just brutal copy. Christ. Awful. Anyway, this is an IPA that tastes like crystal malt because there’s too much crystal malt in it and crystal malt sucks.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not as bad as some here say. Very dank, cannabis flavor. Clean on finish with a note of straw at the end.

2.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Taster at Whole Lotta Brews going on at Whole Foods in Folsom. Aroma kicks ass with piney and floral hops. Absolutely falls flat in every other area. Not good beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
1 pint 6FL oz bottle from a shop in San Francisco. Amber colored body with a small white head. Aroma of pine and maybe some raisins. Soft bitter hops, without the specific exagerated fruity hops. Medium carbonation. Soft bitter finish. Not what most people expect from an IPA , but I like this. ****

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tons of toasted brown bread notes a little herbal and floral I guess. Mostly toast caramel etc. reddish brown pour thin off white head. Toasty brown bread caramel and vegetal. Light hop bitterness. Dry soft resins in the finish. Too much dark malt.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reddish orange in color... Aroma of citrus, pine hops... Malt forward initially, wet hops, toffee and caramel give way to citrus and piney hops on palate... Solid

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear, amber-golden color with a gigantic tan-white, pillowy head. Definitely a malt dominant nose with some grassy, citrusy hop character emerging. Mouthfeel is palate-filling, moderately oily, and slick. Some faint carbonation scrubbing at the finish. Toffee, Tootsie Roll chocolate, and grassy hop flavors. An easy drinking 7.2%, but not a remarkable IPA.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a slight white head. Aroma is floral hop with some caramel backing. It’s almost chewy. It almost suggests cola. Then it settles down to slightly burning hop over adequate caramel. The question: what hop? Not citrus. Maybe floral. Seems earthy. And the burn increases. Burps good too.
