Immodest hop additions throughout the brewing process characterize this distinctive, amber colored NorCal fashioned India Pale Ale. With an ABV of 7.2% galvanized by a total of 64 *IBU’s, we were obliged to create an IPA that would distinguish itself as immortal amongst the common, and with an unforgettable name. We believe we have done just that. Heroine India Pale Ale. A pint of help is on her way.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2014 Draft sampler pour at Face to Face Beerfest ( f22.org ): Still not what I was expecting from IPA, but eyes recently opened during blind judging as well. Brewing process has been cleaned up here, I suppose. Slight lemony with green onion on molasses & sassafrass, and sweet malt aroma. All this present and balanced in flavor, along with bitter hop flavors that are pronounced but not coarse (along lines of green onion and tire) Medium-lean. Clean finish. Appears amber with eighth-inch linen head of tightest bubbles. I think it’s a neutral ale yeast with complexity from malt bill. I like to support local, and I like the label artwork. This sample pour was muddy apricot colored with wide halo white head. A slight malt aroma, yet disappointingly little by way of hop aroma, nearly a leaf-like note. Flavor is led by caramel malt and some earthy and pine hop flavors, and possibly British-yeast derived earthy tones. Medium bodied, a bit sweet, without a drying out in finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with medium white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is citrus and pine. Medium mouth, nice hop bite, citrus, resin finish, very good.

Malty on the nose, slightly fruity mango and passionfruit, ruby red grapefruit and hoppy bitterness on the finish. Well rounded and finished IPA

Bom custo beneficio, IPA regular, bela aparência e rótulo. Gostei muito do aroma, mas o sabor não sobressaiu tanto... Floral, alcohol

Wwwwaaaaayyyy to much sediment. Throws it off for me. Decent copper color, off white head. Citrusy aroma, similar taste.

Flaske: Ravfarvet orange klar øl med et fint lille skumhoved. Duften er lt maltet meget humlet citrus. Smagen er tropisk frugt med en tand appelsin der kan anes. Lækker øl.

~Strong citrusy aroma of orange and grapefruit with berry and caramel malts. ~Pours a slightly hazy light amber color with lasting white creamy head. ~Hop flavor isnt aggressive as the aroma, more piney resinous type hops, some grapefruit, well balanced with sweet bready malty character. ~Medium full bodied, slightly chewy, medium co2, lingering resinous hop character. ~Aroma is very nice, flavor is a bit muddled. I prefer IPA’s to be a bit drier and refreshing. Still an enjoyable beer nonethless, but would only have one.

22 oz bottle shared by Steve. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, citrus, light resin, earthy, thinner body, general bitterness to the finish.

Fiery copper and brilliant; sparkling heavily in the lights. Head is up then fades quickly to nothing at all. Piney, sweet, honeysuckle, lavender and rose petal nose with tinging tangerine and blood orange. Nice, fresh, floral palate. Clean cut with huge rose petal/rose water notes and a strong sense of guava, lychee and peach coming through. Slightly gassy with a medium light body and dry finish. Short in length with just a little musk residing. Bitterness is subdued. Good backbone of biscuity, toasted malt. with a nutty, pinewood finish. Very well balanced and holds the alcohol well. Quite a nice brew. Sessionable, love the label, and overall a refreshing IPA! (65,cL, no date stamp, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

It's a lovely cross between an Amber and an IPA. Nice lacing. A bit copper colored for an IPA. - Snowboards and IPA
