A rich, full-bodied, yet remarkably smooth American-style ale.

12 oz. stubby bottle- Pours clear golden with a ugly soapy white head that immediately disappears leaving a ring. Aroma is generic ale, diapers, not the dirty ones thankfully though. The taste is similar, generic ale, mild dryness. Body is thin and carbonation is high. Boring , boring, boring.

Gold in color, white head that goes away quick, good lacing , creamy texture. Poured from a can to a 7oz rating glass, left a froth on the sides on the glass

12oz stubby bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a clear straw yellow with plenty of carbonation leading to a fizzy head. Retention is poor but leaves a thin cap on the beer. Aromas of sweet corn and grain are present along with an apple juice smell. The taste reveals a slight bready graininess along with the apple flavor. Very light bitterness along with a slight grassy hop flavor. A little tart on the finish. Overall just an ok brew. I still prefer the original Genesee though.

Homebrewerguy (303) - Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2012
Pours a light gold in color with a decent head and lacing, faint aroma is metallic, mouthfeel is decent for style and is the best part about the beer, flavor is metallic and not much else, good looking in the glass so just leave it there.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4918) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Really basic stuff. +++ Sampled form a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant amber color with an enormous creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faintly sweetish, tangy and industrial. The flavor was tart, tangy, bitter and somewhat citric. Medium length tart, tangy and industrial finish. Medium body. It is what it is.

12oz bottle. Pours a very clear gold/orange color with a big fluffy white head. Nose of sweet malt and not much else. Decent mouthfeel. Are those hops or is it just sour? Not much to this. I doubt if it’s an ale. more like a lager. Meh.

Bottle. Honey and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large white head and mild effervescence. Slightly sweet and light barley malt flavor. Not much body. Not much to it but non-offensive.

12 oz bottle. "Beefier" than the Genesee regular beer. Malt and a few hops. Creamy, with a nice body. Nice palate and finish.

Like most Genesee brews this is pathetic. Metallic aroma (even though mine was in a glass bottle). Average looking pour (piss yellow with white head that died quickly). Grassy metal flavor. No maltyness. No hops. Little aftertaste. I paid $6.49 for a 12 pack of glass bottles, and that was $6.48 too much.
