1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottled at a RB gathering in Philly. Had this with Probiere, egajdis, and JF-Grind who rated this before me. This is good for chugging and watching football. Tasted and lokked like a cheap beer.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Smells like white sugar and corn syrup. Tastes nasty. Sour finish, somewhat metallic. Had at RB Philly gathering February 2004.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Golden color with a small white head. Corny, malty aroma. Corn taste also included metal and possibly some harsh phenols?

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 23, 2012 With 12 Horse making a another run in the Genesee Heritage 12 packs thought it was time to re-rate. The last time I rated 12 Horse was 2003 and with a score of 1.4 it was a dismal bland Ale. 2011’s version of 12 Horse has a hay aroma, yellow, light body that overall is a standard macro except for a slight more bitterness. Definitely a better version than 2003, I do wonder how close this recipe is to the late 80’s incarnation of 12 Horse.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
There is nothing special about this beer as it was blase and lacks character. It had a medium sized white head that was smooth and creamy. It contained fine-small sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. The body was clear with carbonation observed and the hue was gold. The nose was malty and there was not much flavor with this beer. The mouthfeel was smooth, thin-watery texture and light bodied. There was a fair amount of lacing.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JAN 11, 2004 This brew poured a large head of mostly lasting fine to medium sized white bubbles that left behind a good lacing and a transparent softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The aroma is a mild malt hop one and its mouth feel is smooth with a slight bubbly tingle. The flavor is very mild with notes of malt and some slight hops. It is not a real notable brew, but not a bad one either. It would be good on a warm summer day after mowing the lawn.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
pale and just not that good. It looked more like Mountain Dew than beer!

1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Clear, light amber with a little yellow in it. Vanishing head with one string of bubbles rising to the top. Fruity (apple) aroma. Very watery and lightly carbonated. Has a slight alcohol bite, maybe because the flavor is so thin, the alcohol is so noticeable. Some cabbage-like notes, maybe even celery too. Not very good at all.
