Bottle. Honey and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large white head and mild effervescence. Slightly sweet and light barley malt flavor. Not much body. Not much to it but non-offensive.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Classic with nice label, huh? The head was weak and shy. Flavour and aroma similar to diluted B-40. No kidding. Bad, bad stuff.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear
medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), with light notes of
apple, medicine, and DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic,
lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately
bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy
carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Something's rotten in Rochester.
Surprised this isn't sold exclusively in 40oz bottles.

Golden color with a small white head. Corny, malty aroma. Corn taste also included metal and possibly some harsh phenols?

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JAN 11, 2004 This brew poured a large head of mostly lasting fine to medium sized white bubbles that left behind a good lacing and a transparent softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The aroma is a mild malt hop one and its mouth feel is smooth with a slight bubbly tingle. The flavor is very mild with notes of malt and some slight hops. It is not a real notable brew, but not a bad one either. It would be good on a warm summer day after mowing the lawn.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Really basic stuff. +++ Sampled form a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant amber color with an enormous creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faintly sweetish, tangy and industrial. The flavor was tart, tangy, bitter and somewhat citric. Medium length tart, tangy and industrial finish. Medium body. It is what it is.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Drank directly from a short stubby twist off bottle that was in an old time variety pack. Looks like any other pale lager. Smells a little cheap beery but OK. A little metallic at first then that smoother after a few seconds. Does not have a whole lot of rude ale attributes, taste almost borders on decent cheap lager. Smoother as the session continues. Probably is higher than 5%. Goodly amount of sizzle in there, makes it nifty on the palate. Even friendly after a while.

Appearance: Clear golden with a big white head
Aroma and flavor of sweet malts, honey and grainy
It was OK, mild.
