A rich, full-bodied, yet remarkably smooth American-style ale.

Alright everyone is allowed a guilty pleasure or two. I remember how much I liked this in high school.......(er college I mean) after thinking Miller was what beer was supposed to taste like. Granted using another macro as a barometer is a flawed start, I remember this actually had taste. 20 years later? Wouldn’t touch it or any non-craft brew.

So-so. There are better beers that you can spend your money on.

glitzy label much differnen than the 7 oz. nip I remember realtives in Lancaster draining. Better than any cheap local in Chicago. Bit of a winy aftertaste.

Pours a medium-gold with a thin white head. The pessimist in me could say it’s a weak-tasting ale, but the optimist finds this to be an intriguing halfway point between a crisp pale lager and a more robust ale (don’t know whether they meant for this). Light to medium bodied, easy-drinking. Pleasant grain aroma, though at times something seemed a little off. Caught off guard by a fairly sour taste. Not great, but not bad either.

to great a beer to be retired. It was even worth a roadtrip or two. Smooth with a very nice color. A fine ale for a US macro

So me and 3 friends heard there was a sale on 12 horse. It was only $9.99 for 24 bottles. This sounded like a good idea for us broke college kids. We all ended up buying a case each. Three out of the four of us ended puking at 3 in the morning. IT was like the 12 horse just sat in your stomach. It tasted a lot better coming back up. Needless to say the 12 horse got to our 4th friend the next night. This beer sucks my ass but, i don’t thnk anyone will ever forget it.
