Draught at 1516 Brewing Company (Wien).
Yellow smooth color. Little head. Elegant and little fraught aspect. Pleasant nose with note of fresh cereals, malty, citrus, dried grass. Smooth taste, little crisp, malty, pleasant bitter final.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy and yellow with a creamy and white head. Aroma is grassy and hoppy. Vague citrusy. Sweet malty, rather fruity and dry grassy hops flavoured. Bitter and bone dry into the finish.

(Old BA rate - tap) Slightly hazy, light yellow color. Aggressively rising carbonation, and poured with a finger thick pure white head. Very light hop aromas followed by a twinge of malt, way too vague and light here^. Sweetish maltiness that I associate with mass-produced lagers (either US or Euro); light hop bitterness on the end. Bit lemony. Thin MF, spritzy carbonation that made the brew a bit more refreshing IMO. Even though there is not much interesting flavor in the brew, it is easily taken down. Not offensive to the palate

mross (169) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - APR 14, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Light pale golden with a small white head. Weak aroma of malt and fruit. Sweet malt and slightly grainy flavour with a nice hop bitterness in the finish. Clean and crisp but not all that fresh. Still...a pleasant helles.

fiulijn (14599) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 8, 2009
Draught at the brewpub
Hazy blond color. Some pleasant crispy malt aroma and flavor, with a bit rounder body, and correct to powerful bitterness make of this a better beer than the Saphir Pils. Pleasant.

On tap at the brewpub. Color was a slightly hazy gold color with a white head. Aroma was yeasty, grainy and malty. Flavor ws the same and good for the style; yeasty and sweet malt. A respectable beer.

draught at brewpub. Cheaper than the rest of the beers at the pub, at least day i was there. Looks like their triple gold. Thick yellow colored with their signature creamy head. Sweet with carmel malt. Good day beer. light palate with little bite in finish. Taste like a lot of the helles style beers i drank all over the Austrian country but better.
