This is one of their beers that is on tap at all times, can’t believe I haven’t rated it yet! Bready aroma with grassy hops. Really one of the most flavourful Helles that still fits into the style category I have tasted so far. There is, however, a slight vegetable flavour in the finish, which is the only let-down. Still a pretty good session beer.

Draught sample @ the brewpub in Vienna. Hazy golden yellow, white head. Grainy, bready, grassy aroma with some citrus and hay. Medium sweet bready/grainy flavour with lemon and grass. Firm bitterness above average. Medium bodied with soft bubbles, soft to oily texture. Nice without giving any enormous impression.

Draught at the 1516 Brewing Co, Vienna, Austria. Cloudy golden colour with a small white head. Mild grainy malty aroma with hay and mild sweetness. The flavour is mild grassy hops and grainy and hay-y malt. Soft carbonation. A bit boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ brewpub, 02/04/14. Pours a slightly hazy, hale yellow with a good-sized, white head. Aroma is somewhat buttery, pale malts, some citrus. Taste is grainy, smooth, lightly buttery. Light with decent carbonation. A very light and smooth and yet distinguishable lager.

On draft. Slightly hazy straw color. Slightly sweet first sip. A smooth beer. One to enjoy a few, but nothing special.

Tapped at the brewpub in Vienna. Hoppy aroma, light golden color, hazy. Taste is a bit sweet, hoppy, malty backbone. Overall very good, yet the sweetness has a bit of a negative side for my taste.

On tap at the brewpub in Vienna. Pours a hazy, dark gold with some creamy, white head. Nose is standard, malty, barley, bread, yeast, cracker. Flavor is the same, sweet, bread, lemon, malt, barley, cracker. Dry finish.

At the brewpub. Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is softish with good fine carbonation. The pale malt is quite sweet and there is an unusual (for the style) bubblegum ester. Modest hops complete things. Mild citrus. Went down well enough after a long traipse about town.
