on tap at the brewpub on sunday night. yellow with a light haze. disturbingly sulphuric aroma. quite sweet, musky, vanilla, banana and eggy custard. not much chop

Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma is wheaty, cloves, and a touch of banana. Flavor is wheaty, citrus, and some clove.

Comments: I can only disagree with previous ratings. This felt like a hugely complex weizen in yeastiness, fully nuanced, excellent and powerful aromatics with more malt intricacies than most and an uncommon firmness.

Yellow colored, cloudy appearance with big white head. Strong banana in aroma, some biting tangy glue tone distracts here. Medium bodied. Flavor has also this biting glue there, though not as disturbingly. Banana and yeast also there with strong carbonation. Refreshing with yeasty and biting aftertaste, still not very classical Hefe-weizen.

Hazy pale yellow, mostly vanishing white head. Lemony wheaty nose. Banana and lemon in the flavor. Finish is citrusy-acidic. Nice fruity esters here, also in the aftertaste. Wellbrewed weizen.

Aorma has light sweetness and fruitiness. Yellow hazy color, frothy head. Fruity flavor, sweetness, warming, notes of cloves and spieces. Astringent finish. Cherry pit notes in the end.
