Labelled as "Spring Weisse." This is a lighter hefeweizen. Fairlly sour wth some citrus in the aroma. Thin, lacing head; good palate; but the flavor is just too light.

Excellent hefeweizen. Just what I was hoping for in Vienna. Thick yellow pour. Full head. Not too carbonated. Good banana finish.

100ml as Dry Weizen at the brewpub in Wien. Cloudy, orange body colour with a white, low-level head. Spicy weissen aroma tinged with hop notes. Well rounded wheaty taste follow by mellow tropical fruits and a touch of banana. Fairly dry (30.11.2007).

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow coloured with a white ehad. The aroma is dominated by fruits with notes of bananas and citrus. Flavour of bananas, malts, caramel and citrus with notes of hops.

On tap at 1516 Brau, Vienna. Hazy orange beer with massive head. Sweet, fruity weisse with apricots and orange peel flavours and a touch of grapefruit. Overall rather too sweet for my taste.

Yeasty aroma, light citrus note. Great hazy brown-orange color, small velvety head. Taste has light peach and citrus notes, is fruity and light malty. Pleasant but not extreme pithy in any direction.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2004
Good German style Hefe-Weiss beer; cloudy yellow in colour with fresh bread and floury flavours and the predictable bubblegum and a hint of banana. Fairly sweet, maybe a touch too much so, but still a good example of the style. (Draught in 1516, Vienna)
