COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Balanced layers of flavor. The crisp and clean finish of Blues’ Golden Ale makes it the perfect complement to any meal. 16 Mile names this golden ale for The Delaware Blues who fought in almost every battle of the Revolutionary War. Also pictured on our label, a monument in their honor is located Outside of Legislative Hall in Dover, Delaware.

Poured into a shaker glass from an undated 12 ounce bottle.

A: Clear golden body with lots of carbonation floating towards the thin white head, head has poor retention.

S: Some toasted malts, smells like "beer."

T: This is pretty decent, toasted malts upfront with a slightly sweet malts, hints of vanilla, slightly earthy finish. This is easy drinking, but boring.

M: Crisp medium body, lots of carbonation.

O: This is a basic easy drinking beer, but I can’t help but feel it’s a slight step above Budweiser and the pricing of this doesn’t help either. There’s no way this is worth $10 for a 6 pack.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is clean bathroom malts and light vanilla. Mouthfeel is thin, crisp, and has notes of vanilla, corn, light fruits and sweet malts. To be honest the taste isn’t quite as bad as the aroma leads you on to believe, but nothing spectacular overall.

A nice lawn mower beer. Malty, bread and biscuit aroma. Pours a clear light amber with a very small head. The flavor mirrors the aroma, slightly sweet. A bit thin but dry and light in the finish.

Bottle from outlet liquors. Pours yellow with a thin white head which doesn’t last very long. The nose smells like corn oil which is fine if you’re about to cook but if you’re sipping on some brews not so much. Mouthfeel is a tad oily. It doesn’t really taste like anything. You should probably drink this as cold as possible to hide the corn smell. the corn, which isn’t very prevalent on the tongue, lingers a bit after you close your pie hole. Ugh!

Hoppy finish. Mostly mildly sweet. Reminded me of the pale ale malts without the bitterness. Went down really smooth. Golden color with a white head.
