1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 PhillyCraft (594) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2012
Bottle with james, poured a copper color. Aromas and taste of bitter hops, caramel, and hay. Finished kind of harsh. Not a great ipa.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jredmond (2804) - Manhattan, New York, USA - APR 22, 2012
Bottle split with Vinny. Pours an amber body with not much head, some lacing. Aroma is muted hop, while the sweet caramel malt is much more present. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with notes of sweet caramel. Not too much of a hop profile here, pretty bland.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Goodgrief (1656) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - APR 1, 2012
On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings, Middletown. Orange pour, small head. Weak aroma. This isn?t crisp at all. Some citrus under a bready/toasty malt base. Not a lot of bitterness at all. Weak. I almost feel like I got the wrong beer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Chalsk (846) - North Caldwell, New Jersey, USA - APR 1, 2012

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Slipstream (1543) - USA - MAR 24, 2012
Attractive pour without much head. Juicy floral aroma. A richly bittered IPA with some malty sweetness. The grapefruit pith flavor comes on a bit too strong in the finish, and there is something musty in there too. This little brewery seems to be getting better.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 keepersj12 (1808) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - FEB 23, 2012
Pretty good IPA. A lot of hops in the aroma. Citrus and pine mostly. It is amber with a small head. The flavor is mostly all bitter hops. Probably not enough malt to balance but great if you’re a hop lover. Finishes dry and crisp.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sonnycheeba (812) - Fells Point, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Draft. Pours clear amber with thin, creamy off-white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, grassy hops, straw, and earthy notes. Flavor is average sweet malt, light earthy hops, and light fruit esters; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 kramer (3454) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Tap. River House. Pours a clear bright copper with a minimal wispy off-white head. The nose is pretty decent, some nice grapefruit citrus notes get my attention right away. There’s a decent amount of caramel sweetness here too, but no crystal malt notes thankfully. The flavor is aggressively bitter with a nice sharp edge to the hops. They even have enough staying power on the finish to cover up the sweetness. Medium bodied with nice bright fizzy carbonation thy keeps the heaviness from the sweet malt at bay. Very long lingering finish. This isn’t the greatest IPA, but it sure beats the pants off of anything I’ve hade from these guys so far. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
