Very light/pale beer with a clean crisp taste and gentle bitter finish. Ideal for a summers day.

Cask (handpump) at the Three Guineas, Reading, 25 June 2009. Another clean golden ale. Tasty citric hop character on the palate. Aroma is more biscuity malt. Decent balance. May not be the most complex beer but pleasant and eminently drinkable.

Cask Stillage at the Boundary, Audenshaw 27/06/2009 Some fruit and malt aromas. Golden coloured slightly hoppy and fruity with a little dryness in a crisp and bitter finish.

Cask (Market Porter. London)
Savoury dusty hops, maybe catfood, in the aroma. Slight appley taste. Soft mouthfeel. Big bitter body, back-of-the-tongue resiny bitterness. Long bitter finish. Slight sweetness too, but dominated by great noble hops.

Cask gravity at Red Lion, Snargate. Bit dusty on aroma, grassy dusty but good white stone fruit flavour, a bit like quite a few of the 1648 beers I’ve had. Reasonably drinkable, decent hop sting on finish.
