Dark amber body with a slight haze. Some patches on the surface. Dark fruits in smell and taste. Nice bitter finish. Rather well bodied. More than average for a golden ale (02.05.2008). harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 25, 2008 Cask cellar run at Ship & Mitre BF, Liverpool. I come from Kent to Liverpool and have a Sussex beer. Gold, no head. Some fullness from the alcohol. Decent strong beer in the style of Summer Lightning. OK, some stone fruit flavour. Alcohol is a bit obvious. White pepper hop finish.
