3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MesandSim (7108) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2010
A Mes rate. Cask at the Harp. Clean gold with a short lived white head and some lace. Quite a straight forward and innocent brew. Presume it’s called what it is as they keep the hops in their pocket rather than putting them in the brew. Some grass and citrus, faint biscuity malt and rather too much sulphur. Reasonably clean faintly bitter finish. Basic but ok.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ethereal (2355) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2008
At the brewery tap, with tashi, 13th April 2008. Golden yellow in appearance with an aroma of citrus and hops which is mirrored in the mouth. Feels very soft on the tongue and highly drinkable, but there is a lasting bitter finish that leaves your lips tingling. Very flavoursome indeed given the low strength. Recommended.
