Cask (handpump) at GBBF, day 2 in August 2007. Attractive bronze/amber colour. Strong malt character with lots of fruit and some sweet notes. Not without tangy hops either. Fairly full bodied. Quite well done I thought. Didnít twig the wheat in this.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe, Kingís Lynn
Golden color, with persistent perlage and generous head. Light aroma of Brett, probably not intended. Dry mouthfeel, again with some astringency and sourness; quite strong bitterness; the infection is mild and the result is drinkable; still, itís flawed.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2011 500ml bottle from Middle Farm, drunk at home, 22nd Oct 2011. Slightly cloudy amber with a big white, very firm head that leaves a lot of lacing. Iím torn on the nose - has some spiciness but also some soapiness. Biscuity malt taste, medium palate.

Cask at the Eastbourne Beer Festival, 11th Oct 2008. Clear amber. Weak malt aroma and a similar taste. The added wheat is evident and makes it feel quite heavy bodied. Feel stronger than 4.2%.
