Cask at Foy Boat, Ramsgate: Light golden yellow bitter. I would have sworn this was Incubus if blindfolded, but then that can’t be a bad thing. Similar maltiness with underlying caramel. Pretty good.

Cask (gravity dispense), London Drinker Beer Festival, March 2006. Copper colour. Prominent, slightly resinous, hop aroma. Some underlying caramel which comes through more strongly on the palate, where the hops have a more earthy feel. Sweetish, with plenty of body. A very decent beer in a traditional vein.

Gravity dispense, shared with Finn. Copper body under a thin, filmy layer. Inviting floral hop in aroma. The taste is a bit weaker with ripe fruits and sweet malts. Bitter notes towards the ending (Reading BF, 02.05.2008).

Bottle. Amber with a thin foam. Aromas are dusty hops with jammy citrus and woody, floral notes. Gentle prickly grapefruit with yeast. Flavours are weetabix malts with dry tea. Lightly fruity with lemon and grapefruit bitterness. A bit homebrew in execution, perhaps due to the bottling process.
