Bottled(330ml). -Very disappointing Czech beer. Weak malty and hoppy with notes of corn, grain and bread. Rather bitter finish.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 joeneugs (1597) - Livermore, California, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Bottle purchased at Grocery Outlet. I was expecting an all out skunk-fest on this one with the green bottle and all, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not much skunk. Way less than Urquell anyway. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a whole lot of aroma to speak of. There were hints of cereal grains and spicy Saaz hops, but it was pretty weak. The flavor was just Ok. Bread, corn, and faint spicy hops. The body was a bit on the watery side, and not nearly as robust as you would expect from a Bo pils. The color was pretty light as well. Overall, I gave this an extra couple points for the lack of skunkiness. It is a decent pilsener fix, just not bold enough.

.5l can from Budapest. Pale golden, grassy sour hopping. Good flavor, a bit funkier than most, but still watery soft. OK
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 suurjuust (350) - Tartu, ESTONIA - APR 25, 2012
Pale yellow, fizzy medium head. Nose is malts, dust, and vegetables. Sweetish malty taste with hops and grass in the somewhat dry finish. An OK bohemian.

0,5l green bottle. Smell is metallic, iron. Color is nice golden yellow, with small head. Head disappears quickly. Taste is grassy hops. Nothing special, average for Czech lagers.
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2012
Green 33cl bottle with a different label and foil to the one in the picture, but the same beer for sure.
Best before 29 Sept 2010, this beer was drank and reviewed on 03 Aug 2010, poured into a small (0.2 litre) tasting glass from Budweiser Budvar.
Looked fine, crisp, clear and bright. The regular pilsner/lager golden yellow colour, with the snow white head on top. The head soon died though, on both pours.
Grains in the smell, but not much else and not many grains either.
Dry and refreshing, a little more hoppy than malty, but not strong tasting in any form or style.
A Mr Average in most aspects and I’ll not be putting it on my Christmas list.

Small can. Clear golden colour. Aroma is grassy and malty. Flavour is malt, little spicy hops. Quite typical Czech. Refreshing. Not bad for basic beer.

Surprisingly tastey brew. Had it with a burger and it was excellent. Golden color, not much to the aroma but flavor was slighly sweet and notes of hops. Very fizzy.

Can. Clear golden colour, lively carbonation, small off white head. Floral aroma, some hay, corn, lemon and hops. Taste is acetic at start with moderate bitter aftertaste. Body is light to medium with watery texture and metallic finish.
