Dimpled mug. Unfortunately this piece of glass is so huge that the 0,5l lager doesn’t even fill it halfway. Oh well..... I need to get smaller glassware like this. This is one of those beers that you just know is going to be sweet even before you have a sip. Low carbonated dark lager with not much head. The colour is dark brown. It is a sweet, smooth beer with caramel aroma. Not much to love or hate here. The low carbonation and smoothness does not mean that it is watery. This one is a pleasant experience but not something that you might absolutely fall in love with.

from old notes Fluffy white cream over a medium brown hue with red highlighting. Richly nutty and toasted with thick malted sugar; instant coffee and spruce on the side. Mildly sweet malts --light on the darker flavours-- with a gently raspy bitterness and tinge of cola. Slick and light bodied; carbonation scrubs.

Easy going and lighter than the colour and aroma belies.

50 cl bottle, best before 16 April 2009.

It’s dark mahogany-red with a huge, creamy head. Both aroma and the sweet flavour has notes of dark syrup, malt, caramel and rye-bread. The finish is slightly bitter with a harsh hint. It’s very monotonous and quickly forgotten.
