0,5 L bottle, pours dark red body with visible carbonation under a silky layer. Scents of bread, jam, grass, herbs, chocolate, carrots. Typical dark ale taste, smokey malts, sweet bread. Pleasant mouthfeel. Well balanced between the bitter, sour and sweet. Aftertaste not very strong nor longlasting, hints of jam returned for a second.

Ganske raffinert drikke i små mengder. Innkjøpt på Superbrugsen i Nørrebrogade.

Half litre bottle bought @Irma Rørvig. Brilliant dark reddish brown. Low lightly tanned bubble head. Sweet dark spiced caramel aroma. Hint of dark bread and grassy hops. LIvely in the mouth. Good body for a 4.5% beer. Taste on the sweet side. Dark caramel and brown sugar flavor. Mild peppery roastiness. Low bitterness, not even enough for balancing. Overall, a pretty fine one. Just a tad or two too sweet to stand out.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught, 0.50l. Clear pale amber brown color with medium frothy tan-like head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, bread and grassy hops. Taste starts with relatively sweet maltiness and dominant caramel and roasted notes. Following is refreshing grassy, mouthfeel is dry, while aftertaste typical moderate Czech hoppy. Medium body, slightly oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Very drinkable, decent beer, but still not outstanding...

500 ml can, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.5%. Dark reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma of caramel and brown bread. Caramel and brown bread in the flavour too, quite nice. Very moderate hops, as normal for the style.
