phaleslu (7600) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 25, 2015
Draft at Liberty’s in one of their small goblet tasters. Pours a cloudy gold color with a finger of white, fizzy, bubbly head. Very muddled, with citrus and tropical fruits, wheat, bread, sugars, straw, sawdust, and apple. Light-bodied, with medium-high carbonation and a musty, fruity, almost stale kind of mouthfeel. Disappointing.

Luvystypotables (1125) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JUL 24, 2015
A complex aroma of ginger, gin, and wine, pours a gold well aged white wine color. Taste of gin and white wine with an effervescent feel and a tangy lime cordial finish.

boxofrane (2444) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2013
Draft at the ginger man. Pours hazy yellow with minimal head. The aroma has lemon and a bit of a woody note. The taste is tart lemon, slightly Winey, big woodiness. Nice.

tgncc (3020) - Bellmore, New York, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Draft at Gingerman NYC. The aroma is red wine, slight sour. The appearance is yellow, no head. The flavor is wine, Slightly sour, lemon. The finish is sour, tart lemon, acidic mouthfeel, medium in body. Same refreshing drink as original. But the wine barrel aging is a real winner. Excellent.

blipp (7084) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Draft at Torst. Pours hazy yellow gold with a white head. Light tart lemony, well restrained boozy barrel notes, a hint of funk, and light flowery notes. Very well put together, well balanced, etc. Damn delicious.

ben4321 (4827) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 26, 2013
Location: Draft at Ginger Man, 4/12/13

Aroma: The nose of this one had a nice mix of tart/sour, and fruity notes, some apple, and wood
Appearance: This one pours a clear golden color with a thin bubbly white head
Flavor: The taste was on target with the nose, an interesting and tasty mix of tart and fruity
Palate: The body is medium, and overall, it has a pretty nice mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This was an interesting beer. I didn’t realize what this series was at the time, but after reading a little more about it, it sounds like a really cool series that B. United has put together. I’ll be on the lookout to find more of these.

j12601 (8000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 13, 2013
On tap at Tørst with Max, Ramy, GT & Whitney, Podey, Andy, Pearl, and maybe some others later. Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. The gin is definitely here, but very subtle. Soft musk and funk, lively citrus and a touch of wood and booze, which is funny on a berliner. Medium bodied, tart and funky with a bit of old wood and the gin comes through again. Long gin overtones. Lingering tartness, light funk. This was super cool.

vtafro (4929) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - APR 6, 2013
Draft. Light golden pour with white head. Nice sour lacto, Brett an wine tones in aroma. Gin comes into the flavor and makes the tartness a little more subtle.

GT2 (9408) - San Diego County, California, USA - APR 6, 2013
Tap at Torst. Pours glowing straw with Medium white foam. Good lacing. Nose is baby powder, sweet cream butter, fresh lemon, mild detergent. Taste is bright, medium gin barrel heat and spice, sweet cream butter, sour tangerine and pineapple. Very good. Not overwhelming with the gin. Bright and fresh. Nice buttery chardonnay abounds. Finishes a bit mealy.
