Brewed as a salute to our brothers at Spiteful Brewing, Deal With the Devil is a beer that comes with a price: our souls. After securing a box of foolproof, sought after hops, we came up with a juicy pale ale thatís low in bitterness and huge in tropical flavors. This beer is unfiltered. Sediment may form.

Bottled. Pours pale amber with an average, lacing off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, peach, orange zest and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and pleasant bitter. Medium bodied, oily textture and soft carbonation. A very nice IPA.

Color of peaches. Smells like hops; I donít like hops. Holy shit its bitter; I canít get it off my tongue. (Trying to wipe the bitterness off my tongue.) The bitterness is all over my mouth.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle; thanks Adam! Aroma has quite a bit of maltiness to it with hints of toasted bread, nuts and caramel. Aroma has a strong grapefruit character with hints of pine and a light melon and tropical fruit note. Hops do not necessarily work well with the malt. Pours a hazy, copper orange with a small thin white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a medium light malt character with some caramel, light toasted bread and faint nuttiness and medium light sweetness. Moderately strong bitterness with medium light hop character. Moderate citrus character with faint tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice double pale ale (whatever that means). I found it a but too malty for the citra hops though and more bitter than I was expecting. As it warms the hop character becomes more noticeable and the bitterness mellows. The aroma is still a little off though.

Perfectly balanced. From the time it hits the tongue to the long aftertaste, the very best of both worlds. Wicked fruity hops and solid caramelly sweet malt. Both linger with some dryness and hint of that 9% fire. Pretty fucking amazing

Bottle at the "Dean is a cheap bastard tasting cos he let Rene buy a beer from the shop and then asked to taste it for the tick" tasting. Pours a hazy amber pour with a thin white head on top. Aroma is hoppy caramel, malty, light thin grapefruit. Flavor is moderately bitter, loads of citric touches in there, long bitter aftertaste. Very nice balance, crisp. Nice one!!

Bottle, 22oz. It pours a dense, finger-thick off-white head over an unclear, orange-golden body. Oranges, resins and some maltyness in the aroma. Rather intense hop flavor, with resins and orange zest. A bit one dimensional hop forward, but it ainít bad anyway. Lots of bitterness. Full body, a good sweetness and a pleasant carbonation. Lasting bitter finish with piney and citrusy hop flavors. Nice indeed, but lacks some depth I think. 141025
