22oz bottle pours dark brown black with medium head. Nose is earthy wet coffee, some driee cocoa bean and milk chocolate. Palate is medium bodied with good coffee presence and some mildly bitter milk chocolate, light roastiness, overall a bit rounded. Finishes straightforward with earthy coffee bean, wet grounds, semi sweet, cocoa, bakers chocolate, and light roast.

Bottle shared thank to JBPortland ! Pours a deep burnt umber color with a finger of khaki foam. Lots of nice soft roasted coffee on the nose with some underlying roast and cocoa. Palate follows with nice coffee notes, the base beer is a touch thinner than expected and lends itself to a strange maltball maltiness that is a touch thin with underlying roasted grain and cocoa dust.

At a tasting, thanks, no head, a little thick pour, opaque black color, aroma of coffee and cocoa with a medicinal hint, flavor of chocolate, coffee, shrubs and some prunes, mellow sweetness, long chocolate herbal aftertaste. Very good.
