Here is a father’s toast to his son. Brewed with cocoa nibs and lactose, Hunter boasts a creamy texture and rich chocolate flavor. Vanilla, roast, and caramel sweetness are met with a bright hop bitterness. Complex enough to pair with dinner or dessert. Suave enough to skip the meal altogether. A chip off the old block, alright.

Bottle. Fruity, sweetish cocoa aroma. Black colour. Small stable dark brown head. The flavour is sweet with a vinous note and a lot of coffee. Very late very powerful coffee note. Spicy finish, quite sweet, actually. Late bitterness, even seems to have a mild hop bite. Gets a bit too sweet for me after a while.

Bottle @ Rowdy Rebel Revel, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee, with notes of malt and roast and vanilla. Bitterish, roasty flavour, with notes of lactose and coffee and touches of chocolate and malt. Hints of yeast and lactose. Roasty and coffeelike aftertaste. Decent.

Bottle given to me by an awesome trading partner, thanks Justin. Pours a complete opaque with reddish hues on the edges, mocha head, almost oily that dies yo nothing, no lacing. Nose is sweet, sugary, vanilla, toffee. Tastes sweet, a little bitter, reminds me of chocolate milk, almost a little chalky, vanilla, coffee, a little boozy. Really fantastic.

Pitch black with a chocolatey fine head with lovely lacings and ace viscousity. Aromas of cocoa powder, milk & bitter chocolate, coffee, roast malts, hints of earthy-woody smoke notes and some faintly caramelised figs. A touch of carbonation, slick, velvety and full mouthed and bodied. Sweet chocolate flavours with roast bitter hints. Harmonic and very tasteful. lasting roasty bitter cocoa finish.

Bottle, pours black with light brown head. Light lacing. Aromas and flavor are dark chocolate, coffee, milk, and a nice malt bill. This was more balanced than the Vanilla offering. Nice warming effect in the chest.

Bottle. Pours jet black with a mocha head that rings the glass. Smells of roasted malts, chocolate, some alcohol as it warms. Tastes of chocolate, lactose, roasted malts, slight vanilla. Medium sweet. Very smooth. Creamy texture, medium+ bodied, slightly bitter and drying finish.

Milky, chocolatey, with a nice roasted malt backbone. Perfect blend in this one. Makes it super crushable. Had a draft pour at 18th street in Indiana.

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate chocolate, cream, roasted malt, light espresso, and a hint of molasses. It’s a dark brown with no transparency and a small beige head that quickly fades to a very fine ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate sweet chocolate and cream. There is some light molasses in the background. The finish has light roasted malt, light espresso, and a hint of anise. It’s medium-full bodied with soft carbonation and a somewhat creamy mouthfeel.
