Growler from 18th. Very cloudy orange juice color. Citrus, juicy fruit chewing gum, very sweet, almost artificially sweet like sunny d. Hops without the bitterness. Good easy drinking stuff.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Backlogged rating: Golden hue with a okay frothy head and lace. The aroma is grainy, biscuity, melon, grassy and herbal. Smooth and fruity with a solid malt base leading towards a clean finish. Lively and refreshing mouth feel, almost sessionable. An okay brew but I wished it had a tad more hop bite.

Freshly canned. Pours a cloudy orange-brown with a medium diminishing white head with decent lacing. Earthy, with hints of tropical citrus nose. Medium heavy, smooth mouthfeel. Sweet earthy malts grow on the palate, leaving notes of citrus on the lips. Real nice balance of malt and hops.

Sampler pour on tap at the brewery (Gary, IN). Pours a nice potent golden orange hue, fiery amber with gentle haziness. A nice carbonation leads to a firm whitish head atop, thicker ring sticks around and laces well enough. Nice fiery glow strikes an alluring hue. Aromas show a decent earthy hop profile, florals and grass meet some lemon rind, touches tropical fruit and guava linger beneath with some grapefruit, gentle bready malt and straw. Initial is a nice fruity melange, gentle bitterness starts to grow with gentle tropical fruit, touches of citrus rind oils and mellow bready malt. The hop bitterness works up a gentle soapy potency overall, allowing some bready malt, fruit elements to show. The middle shows fruit but quickly gets to that spicy/bitter earthy bent. A bit of that pizza spice like hop character on the backend, with some decent dry/bitter character. A bit floral, touch of guava and citrus fruit as we taper out, linger on. Overall, it’s a bit tame up front, bringing some firmer character into the backend. That odd pizza spice hop vibe I sometimes get is there, but the fruit character also is fairly solid and complex. Solid Pale with some decent hop character but not all the bitterness. Quite drinkable. The nose really comes on for me as it settles more, fruity and fairly complex without just straight bitter or resiny qualities. Nice job.
