COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Knuckles on the felt. Hit me. Dealer sends another -- a SEVEN with a Jack in the center. Jeff Kuhnie must have rigged the deck. Warrior, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops lend ample bitterness to this roasty Black Double IPA. SEVEN reminds us of a chocolate orange. Oh, it’s a Cascadian dark ale? Whatever you say, Buster.

Bomber into glass. Black pour slight tan head. Aroma is pine and rye hops. Taste has rye ipa, pine and spruce hops, some coffee and a hint of chocolate. Great mix of ipa and stout in this one. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but this is a great black ipa only behing wookey and maybe dubhe.

Bomber pours a dark brown with moderate, lasting beige head and good lacing. Aroma is strong with earthy hops, citrus hops, and roasted malts. Taste is bitter as expected, wtth a bit of sweetness in the middle. Alcohol well hidden. Body is medium with light carbonation. A very solid strong black IPA I hope to catch again.

Not what I expected. Black thicker pour from a 22oz. Sweet cholate and malt aroma. Cocoa taste. Cofee delicious. Really good black IPA

Dark brown pour with a khaki head. Pine and grapefruit hop nose, big roasted malt, some toast, and chocolate. Hints of toffee and sweet fruit. The flavor has sort of a bitter chocolate orange thing going on. Grapefruit, pine, and lots of roast. Cocoa powder, toast, and toffee sweetness.

22oz bottle, shared by beerpig317. Batch 121. Dark brown color. Thin off-white head. Dots of lace. Nice chocolate, light herbal spice in the nose. Earthy hops. Bigger body. Smooth, light carbonation. More dry finish. Chocolate, light herbal, earthy hop aroma. Sweeter taste, light zest, little chocolatey sweetness in the finish. Moderate bitter overall, dig that. 8.5% works well with the flavor. Solid stuff.

Americo’s bottle. Great hoppy aroma. Very dark brown with a creamy head. Very roasty, with chocolate malt, and citrus hop finish. A touch of smoke. A story in roast.

Bomber to snifter (thanks Beerpig317). Looks good; a dark and fairly opaque cola with off-white lacing. Smells solid; bitter hops and dark malt with some roast and booziness. Tastes like it smells with a nice hop presence, only not as bitter, with an average mouthfeel. Solid beer.

Thanks to Americo. Aroma of roast malt and faint smell of anise. Pours close black with good head and lacing. Average carbonation with sticky consistency. Bitter finish. Bottle.

Powerful citrus aroma. Flavor is citrus with some pine and finishes with a slight roast.

Bomber to pint glass. Orange really comes through so do the roasted malts. Sold as a "chocolate orange". I don’t get the chocolate. Still very drinkable and interesting.
